What will you gain?
Thanks to free advice and training courses offered by financial agents and their business partners, you will acquire knowledge useful for establishing and managing a business. This will make it easier for you to take the first steps in your business. Support is offered to people who established or are planning to open a business within the "First business – Supporting your start" (“Pierwszy biznes – Wsparcie w starcie”) Programme.
If you are applying for a loan for opening a business, you can benefit from aid in the scope of matters related to entrepreneurship, such as preparing a description and a cost estimate of you undertaking.
If you have already acquired a loan for opening a business, you can benefit from the following aid:
- Opening and managing a business,
- Taxation forms for a business,
- Accounting.
It is also possible to participate in training courses relating to other subjects, such as legal aspects, marketing, promotion or company development strategy.
Free advice and training courses are provided by financial agents as well as within the scope of their cooperation with universities, academic entrepreneurship incubators, academic career offices, information and advice centres, etc.

What are the requirements?
You can benefit from the free training and advice services in the following manner:
- At the stage of applying for a loan for opening a business,
- After acquiring a loan for opening a business within a period of six months from signing a contract.
The obtained advice and training courses will constitute de minimis aid.

What are the stages?
In order to benefit from free training and advice services at the stage of applying for a loan, contact a financial agent operating in the region, where you plan to open your business. A list of financial agents can be found here. When you fill out the application form for granting a loan for opening a business, you should declare the wish to benefit from free training and advice services, including the number of hours and scope, both at the stage of applying for the loan and after obtaining aid.
Advice and training courses are available after signing a loan agreement and they are provided by the financial agent, with whom the agreement was signed.

What's next?
Advice and training courses can take place at a location agreed-upon with the financial agent who signed the loan agreement or an entity cooperating with the agent. The date when advice and training courses will be provided after the loan is granted cannot fall later than within six months from signing the loan agreement for opening a business.
Responsible subjects
The Government Programme entitled “First business – Supporting your start” (“Pierwszy Biznes – Wsparcie w Starcie”) is managed by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) based on the Act on Promoting Employment and the Labour Market Institutions. The Programme is initiated by the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy upon order of which BKG manages it throughout its entire duration.
The aim of the Programme is to develop entrepreneurship and create new jobs, as components of labour market growth as well as preventing unemployment and promoting labour.
The funds are distributed by financial agents.
