What will you gain?
The ARP Games Accelerator was designed for talented and aspiring video game creators who are seeking help in spreading their wings.
In order to participate in the programme, you must apply for one of two same-named competitions. As part of each competition – organized every six months – up to 10 teams get support.
Winners will receive:
- project co-financing (in total up to 100,000.00 PLN);
- access to necessary hardware and software;
- industry-based training;
- legal advice;
- help in preparing investment presentations;
- meetings with investors;
- support in promoting projects;
- trips to trade fairs and industry conferences;
- and other activities tailored to the individual needs of winning teams.
Winners will be selected by an independent jury consisting of experts from the video game industry.
During the acceleration programme, authors of the best ideas will set up companies with ARP Games, under which they will be carrying further work on the development of their projects.

What are the requirements?
You may apply for participation in the accelerator programme, if:
- your team consists of at least two people of any nationality;
- you are willing to and can set up a company in Poland.
The programme is open for broadly understood gaming projects which represent any kind of business model and are designed for any platform. Your project can be on an early or later stage of implementation.
The accelerator programme is also open to foreign companies, provided that the project they’re implementing can be incorporated into a special-purpose company set up in Poland.

What are the stages?
The programme is divided into two stages: the Acceleration Phase and Investment Phase.
Up to 10 teams will be qualified for the first stage of the programme which will last three months.
They will receive:
- a scholarship in the amount up to 20,000.00 PLN;
- supervision by a mentor – an acknowledged industry expert – who will actively support the team in the development of its project;
- access to office space, hardware and software necessary for current work;
- personalized business trainings (legal, financial, marketing) tailored to their specific needs;
- the opportunity to participate in trade fairs and industry events, such as Digital Dragons or Gamescom.
During this stage, each team receives tasks it has to perform, including, among others, creating a business model, playable demo or achieving other objectives set out by the Competition Committee.
For stage two, teams which have been positively assessed by the Competition Committee in terms of the progress made and degree in which they’ve fulfilled tasks from the Acceleration Phase will be qualified.
The best teams which will be qualified for the Investment Phase, will receive an investment proposal from ARP Games consisting of: debt financing, capital investment and alternative support (or a combination of these forms).
The solutions chosen will receive:
- investment funding in the average amount of 50,000.00 PLN, regardless of the contribution made by other investors;
- help in promotion and marketing;
- support in acquiring investors.

What's next?
Teams that will fulfill all of the objectives set out for them and present the most promising projects will form companies, in which ARP Games will be a minor shareholder.
ARP Games will take over up to 25% of shares – depending on the evaluation of the idea’s potential and involvement of other shareholders.
From this point, teams will be working on their projects independently, however they will remain under the supervision of the Accelerator, which will provide them with assistance in:
- running a company;
- establishing contacts with potential industry and equity investors;
- carrying out promotional activities at trade fairs, exhibitions or competitions.
