- Poland Prize is a program encouraging foreign startups to set up business in Poland
- The initiative combines the idea of acceleration and soft landing for startups – the goal is to prepare foreign startups to develop further in Poland
- Dedicated to teams of 2 to 4 people – at least 50% of the company shares must belong to founders/team members from abroad (outside Poland)
- The financial support is up to PLN 200,00 and up to PLN 50,000 PLN for the expert services
What will you gain?
Space3ac is an acceleration program that connects large companies with technology startups. The aim of this edition is to position Poland as the first market for young companies that want to develop in Central and Eastern Europe and to support the development of European startups by connecting them with potential customers. Space3ac is searching for the solutions in transport, logistics, PropTech and data science.
Participation in the program will give you:
- co-financing up to 200,000 PLN for project development and up to PLN 50,000 PLN for expert services;
- dedicated patron for each team who help you with the organization of work and meetings;
- soft-landing – support in registering company in Poland, training in Polish business law, accommodation, dedicated VISA track for non-EU citizens;
- the possibility of cooperation with technology partners and leading companies both in Poland and in the world;
- business and technical consultancy at every level with the participation of experienced entrepreneurs and mentors from outside Poland;
- networking opportunities with representatives of mentors, investors, industry, companies, business, academia and public administration;
- coworking and workshop space in O4 co-working;
- work and a flat in Gdansk;
- test solution for the technology recipient;
- participation in Demo Day and presenting your solution during infoShare 2019.

What are the requirements?
If you want to participate in Poland Prize program, you need to meet the following requirements:
- your team consists of two up to four members;
- at least one of its founders comes from outside Poland;
- at least 50% of shares in the company belong to the founders or members of the team from outside Poland;
- you have proof of concept for your idea;
- your team is ready to respond to the technical challenges set by the partners (technology recipients) of the accelerator.
Both companies and academic teams can apply to the program. Your chances of acceleration will increase if your project responds to one of the challenges identified by Space3ac partners.

What are the stages?
Applications to the program are held as part of two editions:
- 1st edition: 1 September 2018 – 31 February 2019;
- 2nd edition: 1 February – 30 July 2019.
What's next?
If you pass the initial verification, you will be invited for an interview. 15 selected teams will take part in the next stage – Preparation Camp during which you:
- visit Gdańsk to meet with the partners of the accelerator, mentors and team supervisors;
- prepare a 5-minute pitch with your solution and the idea;
- at the end of this stage, at least eight teams will be selected, which will go to the soft-landing phase, and then – acceleration.
If your team qualify to the soft-landing stage, you will receive:
- mentoring;
- the possibility of additional funds from investors;
- test solution for the technology recipient;
- the opportunity to participate in the Demo Day organized during infoShare2019;
- expert support in the development of your idea.
