What will you gain?
Start Alliance Berlin: Female Founders is a ten-day program organized in cooperation with We Can Start Up (run by The Place). The initiative focuses on women-founders of startups and its aim is to change the landscape of the innovation ecosystem by strengthening the position of women and their potential in business, as well as encouraging them to start a business.
Participation in the program will give you an opportunity to:
- establish business contacts with representatives of the Berlin innovation ecosystem;
- use the co-working space in Berlin (with the possibility of extending up to four weeks);
- workshops on business development;
- business contacts with VC funds during the final demo day;
- carry consultations with industry experts;
- participate group workshops.
The costs of accommodation and transport are not covered by the organizers of the program.

What are the requirements?
Start Alliance Berlin program is dedicated to startups, which:
- are beyond the idea/prototype stage and have already successfully launched in their domestic market;
- consider foreign expansion;
- they work on solutions from innovative, digital healthcare sector;
- and are located in one of the partnership cities – in Warsaw, New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Beijing or Vienna.

What are the stages?
To participate in the program, you need to fill out a simple application form by 18 February, which is available under application button (it will redirect you to a dedicated website).
What's next?
If you qualify to the program, you will take part in a series of events focusing on female entrepreneurship, including:
- workshops in the field of fundraising, business development, PR, recruitment, legal aspects, etc .;
- business breakfast;
- training sessions in the field of pitching;
- the final demo day, organized in cooperation with We Can Start Up.

Responsible subjects
Start Alliance is an initiative of Berlin and the Berlin Partner organization. It is aimed to network the most innovative cities in the world and create a platform for the flow of innovative companies. Warsaw's participation in the network is co-financed from EU funds as part of Next Step Poland project, which is implemented by three institutions from the PFR Group – Polish Development Fund, Polish Investment and Trade Agency and Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
