By taking part in the programme, you will gain:

• verification of your business concept by experienced professionals who support innovative companies in their development on a daily basis;

• project development support by means of a comprehensive incubation programme preparing companies for market entry;

• support for the assessment of opportunities for the commercialisation of innovative ideas, research work and initial research results, market potential and level of accessibility and protection of intellectual and industrial property;

• providing support at the stage of creation and management of an innovative company in the field of obtaining funds for innovation and technology development and preparation of a proper investor presentation and public speeches; 

• care of the Incubation Manager, i.e. the person who coordinates the incubation process from the side of the Startup Platform;

• access to a network of industry experts and technology companies specialising in the fields of energy, medicine and IT;

• access to a broad package of basic services (organisational support, workspace, accounting services, legal services, tax advice, basic mentoring support in developing elements of corporate identity) and specialised services (including expert services provided by partners);

• access to an extensive network of contacts abroad, using existing activities of the programme partners;

• development of a cooperation model and real business scenarios, beneficial for incubated companies, as well as assistance in finding a potential investor or client;

• the opportunity to participate in international study and training trips;

• the possibility to participate in workshops and group trainings concerning ways of searching for competitive advantages, as well as individual consultations; 

• the opportunity to take part in Hack Days and educational sessions, conferences and trainings that are dedicated to the start-up environment; 

• the opportunity to participate in the Idea Challenge event, which consists of several hours of building a business model and its presentation with the participation of dedicated mentors.

The offer of the Startup Platform is addressed to individuals and scientific teams interested in starting a business in Eastern Poland, whose projects fit into the industry specialisation of the Idealist Platform. If you wish to apply, you must additionally meet the following requirements:

• Your project is characterised by product innovation;

• On the day you sign the incubation agreement, you must be the owner of the corporation; 

• Your idea is not the subject of an existing business.

Preferred originators are those who are under 35 years of age at the time of joining the project.

The Idealist Platform call for proposals will be held on a rolling basis with six incubation rounds . The incubation period will last an average of six months.

• 01.09.2019 - 29.02.2020

3rd round of recruitment:

• 01.03. - 31.08.2020

4th round of recruitment:

• 01.09.2020 - 28.02.2021

5th round of recruitment:

• 01.03. - 31.08.2021

6th round of recruitment:

• 01.09.2021 - 31.01.2022

Wnioski, które wpłyną drogą elektroniczną, będą na bieżąco opiniowane przez komisję kwalifikacyjną. Ocena wstępna dotyczy spełnienia wymagań formalnych i merytorycznych projektu. Po wstępnej ocenie formularzy wybrane projekty zostaną zakwalifikowane do kolejnego etapu – panelu ekspertów. Decyzja o przyjęciu do programu inkubacyjnego podejmowana jest w oparciu o analizę wniosku inkubacyjnego oraz informacje uzyskane od start-upu podczas panelu ekspertów.

Do procesu inkubacji zakwalifikowanych będzie około 150 start-upów. Program będzie obejmował wsparcie innowacyjnych przedsiębiorstw na każdym etapie rozwoju – od momentu rejestracji działalności do stworzenia MVP (minimalnej wersji produktu).
